Cookie policy
In short: what cookies are, what we currently use on this site, and how you can control your preferences from your browser.
Last updated: 15 June 2026
This document describes how the site currently uses cookies and similar technologies. It is informational and may be updated as the site evolves.
What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small files of information that your browser saves on your device when you visit a site. Similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage, work in much the same way.
They are passive files. They contain no programs, viruses or spyware, and on their own they cannot access other data on your device. Their usual role is to help the site work correctly or to remember your preferences.
What we currently use
We only use local storage and strictly necessary cookies, so that the site works and remembers your choice about the cookie banner.
- Cookie banner preference — when you accept or decline the message shown on your first visit, your choice is stored locally in your browser so we don't show the banner on every visit;
- Strictly necessary technical storage — used, where applicable, for pages to work correctly, for security, and for the protected or admin areas of the site.
What we do NOT currently use
The public site does not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools. None of the following are active at the moment:
- Google Analytics or other traffic-analytics tools;
- the Meta/Facebook Pixel;
- the TikTok Pixel;
- advertising or remarketing cookies;
- third-party tracking cookies;
- Google reCAPTCHA or other CAPTCHA scripts.
Forms and anti-spam protection
To reduce spam, the forms on the site use an invisible “honeypot” field that only bots fill in. It is a simple check that uses no cookies and sends no data to CAPTCHA or tracking services.
Links to social networks and external platforms
The site includes links and icons to our Facebook, Instagram and TikTok profiles, a WhatsApp link, and a link to the ANPC/SAL platform.
These are simple links that you open yourself. They are not embedded widgets, external scripts, tracking pixels or iframes. While you browse Aleria Events, they do not set Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or WhatsApp cookies.
If you open one of these links and move to the external platform, that platform may use its own cookies and privacy rules, which are outside our control.
Consent
Strictly necessary cookies and storage may be used without separate consent, because the pages would not function correctly without them.
Analytics, marketing or tracking cookies would require your consent before being enabled. Since we do not use such tools at the moment, we do not ask for that kind of consent.
The banner shown today only remembers your choice about that message. It does not load any analytics or marketing scripts.
How to manage cookies
You can delete or block cookies and local storage from your browser settings. Most browsers let you clear existing data and block new data.
Note that blocking strictly necessary storage may affect some site functions or protected areas of the site.
Updates to this policy
If we later add analytics tools, marketing pixels, CAPTCHA or other third-party services, we will first update this policy and the cookie banner to reflect the new categories and to ask for your consent where required.
Relationship with the Privacy Policy
This policy covers cookies and local storage. For details about the personal data we process when you send us a request through the site's forms, see Privacy policy.
